Richelle Flanagan has over 18 years of experience practicing as a Dietitian. She has spent much of her career advocating for better nutritional care for people living with chronic disease. Being diagnosed with Coeliac Disease and subsequently Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease, Richelle was a board member of the Coeliac Society of Ireland and chair of their Clinical Advisory Board. She is currently a committee member of the Dublin branch of the Parkinson’s Association of Ireland, a World Parkinson Congress Ambassador, and a founding member of the PD Avengers and the Women’s Parkinson’s Project. She has also recently set up My Moves Matter to look at the impact of the hormonal cycle on the PD symptoms of women living with PD.
